With the makeup industry booming, it can sometimes be hard to make informed choices about what makeup to buy, when there are so many products on the market. We all want to use the best products available to create our look. Whilst price is a factor, it’s often more about quality and value for money – we all want our makeup products to last. With that in mind, we thought we’d explore the Brow Pro eyebrow pencil and typically what to expect.
How long does EyebrowQueens Brow Pro last?
Sadly, there’s not one simple answer to this question as everyone has different eyebrows and skin types. The amount of product that you will use on a day-to-day basis will depend on the type of brows you have.
Generally, if you have quite full brows, you will only need to draw in a few fine hair strokes to achieve your desired look and so will only be using a small amount of the product daily. The pencil will likely last a bit longer than someone who has sparse brows, who wishes to create a fuller brow. If you consider your brows to be sparse, you will need to fill in a lot more areas using the Brow Pro so will therefore use substantially more product on a day to day basis.
If you are going through a ‘regrowth programme’ to grow your brows out (in order to achieve their desired shape) you will likely use more product than say when you have achieved your preferred shape, as during the regrowth process, you will often need to ‘colour in’ patches where hair growth is slow or perhaps missing. This can use a fair amount of brow pencil however once the brow is ‘grown in’ and shaped, you should only need to use a small amount here and there to slightly thicken and define.
If you are having additional brow procedures such as microblading and semi-permanent makeup you may need a brow pencil to fill in small areas where pigment hasn’t taken or where it’s faded.
Typically, the Brow Pro lasts around 6-10 weeks depending on your brow shape, size, and whether or not you’ve had a brow procedure.
How long does it last once applied?
Once the Brow Pro has been applied, it should last up to 24 hours. Depending on the environment and skin type, it can however differ slightly. Hotter climates will make you inevitably sweat a little, which may have an effect on the ‘staying power’ of the product; as will playing sports or physical activity! If you are someone who has oily skin, someone who is often found sunning themselves on a beach somewhere, or an avid gym-goer, apply our Brow Fix on top of the Brow Pro to make your brows both waterproof and sweat-proof! A little Brow Fix goes a long way so there’s no need to use too much product to achieve great results. The brows will stay put all day until you remove them with your favourite makeup remover. How long does the brow pro last
Depending on how you use the Brow Pro will determine how long it will last for. If you have quite full brows, you will only be needing to draw in a few fine hair strokes, so the pencil will last a bit longer for you over someone who has sparse brows. This is because you will be needing more product to fill the gaps in, so like with any product it will run out quicker.
On your skin the Brow Pro should last up to 24 hours, but depending on environment your skin type it can differ. However if you live an active lifestyle we recommend putting the Brow Fix on top of the Brow Pro to make it waterproof and sweat proof which means you can confidently go through the day without having to worry about rubbing your brows on anything or getting them wet.
